Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models within Power BI, leveraging Dataverse and Azure data sources. Transform and cleanse data to ensure its accuracy and usability for reporting and analysis.
• Integrate Power Apps seamlessly with Power BI to create interactive and user-friendly applications that leverage the capabilities of both platforms.
• Utilize Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Functions to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI and Dataverse.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Dataverse, including managing and customizing data tables, entities, and relationships within Dataverse to support data integration and reporting needs.
• Create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring that data is presented in an easily understandable format for end-users.
• Publish Power BI reports and dashboards to Power BI Service, configure data refresh schedules, and set up sharing and collaboration features for stakeholders.
• Leverage Azure services to enhance data analytics capabilities within Power BI, enabling advanced data processing, machine learning, and AI integration.
• Implement data security measures within Power BI, Dataverse, and Azure to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports, dataflows, and data sources, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data engineers, to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, ETL processes, and report development, making it accessible for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and provide technical support to end-users
• Store and manage data efficiently in Azure Data Lake Storage, ensuring data availability and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
• Adhere to data governance practices and standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with data policies and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Azure to incorporate new features and best practices into data solutions.
• Implement Azure security measures to safeguard data and maintain compliance with security standards and regulations.

Skills Required

• U.S. Citizenship Required: DoD Secret Clearance Eligible or Higher
• Power BI Proficiency: A deep understanding of Power BI, including data modeling, creating advanced reports, and developing visually appealing dashboards using one or more of the Power BI suite solutions, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Embedded, Power BI Mobile, Power BI Report Server, Power BI Gateways, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Dataflows, and Power BI Embedded for Developers for comprehensive data analysis, visualization, integration, and deployment.
• Dataverse Integration and Development: Strong experience in integrating and working with Dataverse, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Azure Services: Proficiency in utilizing various Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Functions for data integration and processing.
• Dynamics 365 CRM: Hands-on experience in integrating and extracting data from Dynamics 365 CRM, including customizing data flows and building reports.
• Power Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Power Platform components, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to create interactive and automated model-driven solutions.
• Data Engineering Skills: Strong data engineering skills, including data cleansing, transformation, and data pipeline development.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization best practices and the ability to create compelling and actionable visualizations using Power BI.
• Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges.
• Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project Management: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Education Requirements

• 3 years of work experience
• Bachelor's degree or Higher
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power BI, Azure, and Dynamics 365 are a strong plus. (PL or AZ only)

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment at HyerTek. However, the base pay offered may vary and is subject to multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, which will be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and HyerTek reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time. This includes modifications for reasons related to individual performance, HyerTek or individual department/team performance, and market factors

Posted Salary Range

USD: 85,000 - $115,000 per year.
