Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist assists with all credentialing & privileging of Hyndman Area Health Center clinical staff. He/she also assists with the maintenance of all insurance enrollments & contracts.

Location: 1 Corporate Dr. Suite 107 Bedford PA 15522

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Duties:
• Verify credentials of all clinical staff
• Verify competency & health/fitness status of all clinical staff
• Run exclusion reports for all clinical staff
• Credential & privilege students completing clinical rotations with HAHC
• Assist and expedite license enrollments for LIP staff
• Enroll facility and servicing locations with insurance
• Enroll rendering providers with insurance
• Complete insurance quarterly directory updates
• Maintain insurance contracts

Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in provider credentialing and/or insurance enrollment 
• Preferred graduate of the medical secretarial program or office technologies certification 
• Ability to use and understand computer applications
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand policies and procedures of a Federally Qualified Health Center
