Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Compliance Analyst position is an exciting multi-role and multi-tasking job, allowing self-driven individuals to manage all aspects of this initiative. This role will be primarily responsible for conducting reviews through the analysis of customer KYC information in conjunction with transactional data to include writing clear and concise reports. The analyst will also be responsible for performing all CIP/CDD/EDD processes related to BSA/AML/OFAC as well as assisting with the communication and resolution of findings and issues.
- Conduct initial KYC analysis of new account Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) packages
- Review and resolve Sanctions, OFAC, Negative News, and PEP screening alerts
- Demonstrate knowledge on Customer Identification Program (CIP) information through documents and non-documentary methods
- Research, analyze, and investigate customer/transaction behavior for potential fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing related risks
- Assist in the identification of relevant compliance matters and escalates them for awareness and/or potential action as appropriate to the Compliance Manager
- Interact with team members, management and customers in a cooperative and professional manner by:
- Communicating openly, honestly and constructively
- Taking responsibility to resolve concerns and problems (i.e., communication, trust and respect) within the team, department, and with customers
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business related field
- 1 to 5 years proven experience in a compliance role
- Experience with KYC and customer onboarding
- Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to make decisions according to established guidelines; work unsupervised and to accomplish tasks accurately and on a timely basis; prioritize work; strong organizational skills
- Ability to see through gray areas and assess AML-related risks
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Contributes to the success of projects by freely sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members
- Experience in reviewing financial data reports and analyzing them to look for discrepancies
- Experience with financial data and documentation tools
