Warehouse/Shipping Manager

I Love Sparklers is a small business in search of a full-time warehouse/shipping associate for immediate employment at our Magnolia, TX office.

As an e-commerce company with several websites, you will be responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders and management of our warehouse which requires strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain our excellent online reputation. You will work as part of a small team and communication and flexibility to adjust to changes is key. It will be important to gain in-depth product knowledge and be fluent in product functions and our product packaging configurations. You will use company inventory management software and shipping software as part of your daily duties and print, pick, and pack 50 to 200 orders daily at a fast speed and high level of accuracy. You will need to operate a forklift and pallet jack to unload and load trucks along with moving inventory to different locations.

As part of our team at a small business, you will need to be able to accomplish your regular daily duties along with having the flexibility to learn and help with other tasks that come up as needed.

Responsibilities

• Preparing shipments for customers to include picking, packaging and labeling

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

• Receiving incoming shipments and put into inventory

• Up-keeping facilities and maintenance within abilities

• Ordering warehouse supplies and boxes

• Handling all bulk trash and cardboard waste

• Assisting with inventory count quarterly

• Physical labor related to warehouse operations such as palletizing and breakout, shipping & receiving, inventory control as required, along with forklift operation.

Skills

• Work with shipping and inventory management software
• High School diploma required
• Prefer previous forklift (certificate) and pallet jack experience.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pull inventory of up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the duration of shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
