Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient cases
- Conduct regular meetings with nursing staff to address concerns, provide feedback, and promote professional development
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of family planning principles and practices
- Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical records management systems, such as Cerner
- Familiarity with diagnostic procedures, including sonography
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) utilization and maintenance
- Proficiency in medical documentation standards and practices
- Experience with specimen collection processing
