Job Title: Estimator
Reports to: Division Manager
Job Summary:
Sound Seal, a leading manufacturer of soundproofing and noise control products, is looking for a full-time Estimator. The right individual will provide world class customer service to our valued customers by coordinating all activities associated with technical support, estimating, order acknowledgements and orders status. This position will be based out of Agawam, MA.
Essential Functions:
- Receives requests for price quotations, purchase orders, and order changes directly from customers and distributors.
- Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service and solutions.
- Interpret customer needs and requirements, develop, and submit product quotations which includes product description, pricing, and design details on both standard and custom product offerings.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, providing customer service such as same day quotes and quick responses to technical questions.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Daily interaction and communication with manufacturing and production staff.
- Perform other duties as required.

Required Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in sales or technical roles.
- Familiar with construction and or building materials a plus.
- Interest in soundproofing and noise control a plus.
