What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Assistant position at IAPP?
The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is looking for an Events Assistant to provide project administrative support to its Events team.
Position Summery
The Events Assistant will support the team by transferring and updating registration data records. Facility with CRM systems and attention to detail will be critical to success in this role.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Data entry/transfer of current registrations into assigned systems
- Download and manipulate reports
- Verification or creation of accounts in registration system
- Email outreach to IAPP members for registration verification as required
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM system a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and flag inconsistencies in data
- Attention to detail is imperative
Work Environment
For this role the employee will be required to be in the office for onboarding and training. After training this role will return to the Portsmouth, NH location with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days from wherever they work best.
