The vendor management analyst is required to clearly understand the regulations and bank policy governing the vendor management program. The analyst should establish and maintain good relationships with business owners, legal, IT and security, as well as corporate credit, enterprise risk and audit in order to clearly and effectively advise and communicate the requirements of Third-Party Management. The analyst facilitates and oversees appropriate vendor due diligence, contract negotiations and ongoing monitoring of all vendor relationships. the analyst will maintain accurate records of all documents, and contract terms on the vendor management application and internal drive. The Analyst will be required to update procedures as processes change, participate in training and committee meetings.Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Advises business owners of their roles in managing contracts
- Prepares committee agendas and presentations
- Establishes positive relationships within the organization and vendors
- Maintains complete vendor files on internal drive
- Provides support to business owners throughout the live cycle of the contract
- Updates procedures if processes or responsibilities change
- Facilitates contract negotiations with business owners, legal and vendors
- Assists with internal and external audit requests
- Plans daily, weekly and monthly tasks to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Tracks contract renewals or expirations and updates records appropriately
- Ensures all contracts are entered into the contract management system with correct term dates and description
- Collects critical documents and uploads to system ensuring accurate dates are entered
- Ensures all critical documents are uploaded with correct expiration dates if applicable
- Submits vendor documents for assessments
- Generates monthly management reports as assigned
- Attends webinars and completes certification as continued education

- Superior English language skills in order to read and understand contracts and vendor specific requirements appropriately
- Ability to analyze legal and regulatory documents and apply knowledge to daily tasks

EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum Associate degree, Bachelor or equivalent college coursework that should include English and management with business legal (Minimum 2 years related work experience may substitute education requirements)
- Knowledge and comprehension of basic contract terms and banking regulations, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Minimum of two years in banking with experience in contract management, or related experience in compliance, quality assurance or audit
- Webinars related to regulatory guidance on vendor management and current industry best practices, CRVPM certification is recommended
