Position: Residential Salesperson
Compensation:
Paid Training ($16/hr. for 4 weeks)
Commission based after 4 weeks. (beginners average $50-80k first year, experienced $100k )

Location: Travel entire PDX metro area, check into Vancouver office several times per week
Overview:
IBEX Roof is a Vancouver, WA based roofing contractor serving the Portland, OR greater metro area. We are a 6 year old company with aggressive growth goals, and a very clear idea of where we are going. We are looking for a residential estimator to join our growing team.
This would be a position with paid training for several weeks, then phasing into a reasonable commission-only structure. We have an excellent track record, fair pricing, and are very easy to sell. Read our reviews online.

How it works:
1. We set up appointments for you (inbound calls mostly), usually in pre-set appointment slots. This is a somewhat flexible job.
2. You inspect the project, build rapport, and give them some options they actually want and need. This is where it's important you become a roofing expert.
3. You give them an estimate, then sell the job (or follow up until it's sold/lost)
4. We will install the product and WOW the customer
5. You ask for referrals and reviews
What's expected:
1. Represent the company across all platforms in a positive way.

3. Learn about roofing- become an expert

5. Do what you say you are going to do- internally and externally.
6. Enter all data, keep track of leads and lead status.

The ideal candidate will:

4. Be willing to learn roofing (it's okay if you have experience too, just be willing to learn). Knowing how to listen and meet customer's needs will be important.

7. Care about being the best in our niche. Not #3, not tied for 2nd, #1. We need everyone to be on the same page.
8. Follow up like a bloodhound. We don't expect to close every customer, but we expect to either get their business, or learn something. Every time.

Requirements:
CLEAN- We Drug test everyone.
Be able to climb on roofs in all weather conditions
Proficient with Google Calendar, Google Maps, Gmail, Excel, Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some construction knowledge is helpful
Valid driver's license- with acceptable driving record
Pass criminal background check
