Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Manager - You will apply your expert level technical skills to help drive successful customer outcomes with IBM hybrid cloud & AI Growth Offerings. You will learn how to identify use cases, perform solution architecture design, build MVPs, and drive adoption of our Growth Offerings that run on Red Hat OpenShift. You will also gain experience on guiding IT executives through the changes needed to unlock the full value of hybrid cloud, showing users how to get value out of their solutions, identifying expansion opportunities, and working with the renewal team to prepare for a successful renewal.
To be successful in this role you:
- Become a trusted liaison by understanding customer business and technology needs and identifying and progressing projects to support customer growth
- Invest time with customers to understand their digital transformations and application modernization strategies, and support the IBM Team in demonstrating how the IBM Hybrid Cloud & AI solutions can meet their needs
- Develop technical expertise in select solutions in order to lead and persuade others
- Develop and execute a Customer Success plan to drive IBM Software adoption post deployment
- Demonstrate a willingness to take initiative, assess risk, and experiment with new approaches
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with (one or more of the following):
- 1-4 years experience delivering technical projects in support of business objective
- 1-4 years experience with application development in either traditional java or current java script and cloud environments
- 1-4 years experience with consulting / architectural or design work for cloud and virtualization solutions
Education:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar disciplines
