Your Role and Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and scale a team of Digital Sellers with a dedicated focus on acquiring new customer in the Select market segment
- Coach and lead digital sales squad through the end-to-end sales process
- Partner with Ecosystem team to ensure optimal use of partners in progressing and closing opportunities
- Develop, maintain and present monthly and quarterly forecasts to senior management
- Continuously evaluate and steer team to exploit competitive gaps
- Partner with the product team to continuously share and evaluate gaps in market positioning
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7 - 10 years experience selling IT / SaaS solutions
- 3-5 years experience as a sales manager and coach
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing deals, and managing outbound sales teams to exceed quota
- Relentless personality with creative problem-solving skills
- Experience working with and coaching to defined sales methodologies preferred (i.e Sandler, MEDDIC, Solution selling, etc)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organizational, presentation and time management skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Background in Cloud Solutions and / or Observability preferred
- Client relationship sales experience
- Knowledge around IBM strategic solutions and related processes
