Description:
Responsible for driving sales growth in Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) offerings. As an individual contributor with leadership capabilities, you will set and meet sales targets, develop MSSP-specific sales strategies, and prepare for future team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve individual sales quotas for MSSP services.
- Develop and implement MSSP-specific sales strategies.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiations for MSSP contracts.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients in need of cybersecurity services.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement in MSSP offerings.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and product teams to tailor offerings.
- Forecast MSSP sales and report to senior management.
- Plan for future sales team: identify hiring needs, set roles, and prepare training.
Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5-7 years of sales experience, specifically in the cybersecurity or MSSP industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to transition into a team management role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
