PURPOSEThe Store Manager is accountable for planning for their branch in terms of sales, profit, and operating plans including tracking and managing performance. They also promote the company’s mission through excellent people planning processes.

Compile branch data and create an operational, and sales and profit plan for the territory and branch.
Establish a territory and branch plan/budget for staffing, materials, resources, and logistics.
Staff, train, and retain high-caliber staff to ensure efficient operations and quality customer service.
Promote IBT’s mission, goals and objectives, and ensure that plans contribute to those efforts.
Assisting Outside Sales staff in branch offices with their annual plans, sales forecasts, and goals.
Establish performance standards for employees.
Track monthly sales goals and review financial statements monthly.
Establish & maintain trust, respect, and credibility with customers and staff with highly ethical actions.
Encourage the formation of teams that are empowered to analyze and solve problems and make recommendations for corrective action by continuously coaching and training staff.
Coordinate resources for managers to enable the company to serve the customers needs and add value to the products and services.
Compare operational and sales results to established standards and goals, and communicate findings as needed.
Analyze customer feedback, data and situations continuously for use in further planning efforts and reports to the regional manager.
Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain for a good appearance and dependable mechanical operation.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred sales and experience in an industrial distribution setting, ideally, with strong knowledge of IBT products
Excellent leadership and influence skills, with the ability to inspire and persuade individuals with a demonstrated ability to manage change, showing patience, resilience, and firmness
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively and professionally present information and respond to customer questions and needs
Advanced math and statistical skills that allows you the ability to interpret financial data
Strong PC and software skills with the ability to use technology to improve efficiency and effectively communicate information, including, but not limited to Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and various Customer Relations Management (CRM) software
PHYSICAL DEMANDSSight, hearing, speech. Frequent lateral mobility; frequent entry and exit from vehicles; use of both hands and arms; occasionally lift weights over 50 pounds; mentally able to plan and analyze verbal input; solve problems; make decisions and take appropriate action under moderate stress.POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURSThis is a full-time position with a 40-hour minimum with the schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. however, work hours or types of work may vary. There may be times where there is an expectation to work extended hours as dictated by business needs.
