Overview:
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all HR related functions and initiatives in compliance with all federal, state, local, county, and contractual requirements. This person will provide support to all staff and management in the areas of recruitment, policies and procedures, benefit administration, employment law, compliance, and more! Some duties include, but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of employment law (including: EEOC, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, FLSA, COBRA, PA Unemployment Laws, and ACA) to provide fiscally and legally prudent coaching and compliance to staff and management
? Provide information, advice, and guidance to all management staff and employees on employee relations issues
? Coordinate human resource functions including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and exit interviews & terminations
? Supervises administration of benefits including the health/dental/vision insurances, and other voluntary benefits
? Implement, maintain, and review payroll-processing systems and procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including, but not limited to: salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
? Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including entering information on new hires, terminations, and pay rates changes.
? Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all payroll information
? Ensure compliance and adherence of federal, state, and local laws, including following best practice methodology.
? Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to external auditors.
? Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
? Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
? Ensure accurate employee payroll insurance deductions based on enrollments.
? Ensure accurate and timely procedures to accurately compute and manage Paid Time Off for new, ongoing and terminating employees.
? Respond to questions for employment verification.
? Prepare workers? compensation audit reports.
Minimum Requirements:
? Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably within a manufacturing setting.
? Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience preferably in Paycom.
? Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources or equivalent business acumen preferred.
? Knowledgeable in administratively managing various HR processes.
? Effective organizational, prioritization and follow-through skills.
? High attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing materials and meeting deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.
? Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact.
? Must have sound critical thinking and reasonable decision-making abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate information and ideas. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and reach. Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
