ICF is seeking a Project Coordinator to support scrum teams for our Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) clients. Work experience should highlight public health information systems or clinical health IT business acumen, management consulting, quality management and control and project leadership.
The consultant demonstrates a proven track record of successful requirements elicitation, change management and agile project experience focused on quality, risk mitigation and innovation management. Dedicated to excellence in customer service and proven track record of working with clients in a professional manner.
The candidate should showcase project delivery experience supporting IT and public/clinical health programs and relevant experience in management consulting. Work experience should highlight a proven track record of success in supporting complex, large-scale technology initiatives. The candidate should have strong quantitative, analytical, communication and writing skills. The Project Coordinator will work closely with and under the oversight of the Project Manager to execute contract deliverables and services.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$57,737.00 - $98,153.00

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results.
- Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities.
- Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees.
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices.
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
- Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan.
- Serve as point of communication between clients, project teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, statistics, or equivalent education.
- 2 years’ professional work experience with at least 1 year of experience in a project coordination role.
- 1 year of experience in customer service.
- 1 year of experience supporting project meetings
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust federal security clearance.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
- Professional project management certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP®), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Prior experience in consulting environment
- Prior work experience in clinical/public health
- Ability to promote and contribute to an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and environment.
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients.
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional project coordination skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy.
- Proficient with MS office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
