Project Manager, Scrum Master - Remote

ICF’s Digital Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology practice, seeking a motivated Digital Project Manager /Scrum Master to join our team. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of digital project management best practices and business analysis techniques. The role is a significant position that involves working with customers and other stakeholders by developing and implementing solutions in a complex, highly dynamic environment.

This candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of digital projects for a large U.S. Federal Agency.   

What you will be doing:

• Works with government stakeholders to plan, manage documents and analyze functional requirements, identify gaps, and identify alternative approaches to meet requirements.

• Collaborate closely with business owners to ensure enhancements satisfy the required needs of the business and campus.

• Manage status update meetings and communicate external timelines and impacts of new initiatives to team members.

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies

• Manage time and expectations of multiple projects and team members

• Identify and communicate downstream impacts of enhancements or major projects to other teams /departments that may be impacted .

• Work well in a collaborative environment to complete requirements.

• Work closely with the Strategic Communications team to ensure proper communications and

• Coach team members to optimize performance and ensure professional growth

• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Develop a strong understanding of client mission, organization, and technology landscape to better understand how ICF can most effectively identify and address enterprise needs.

• Play a key role in leading and executing functional user acceptance testing with guidance from the project teams. 

W hat you must have :

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution .

• US Citizenship or Green Card. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust due to Government Contract requirements. 

• Certified Scrum Master preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years Practical experience managing Appian or Salesforce implementations or other similar PaaS product s .

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing at least two major projects of six months or more

• Minimum of 3 years of understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is expected.

• Quick learner and excellent team player having the ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong technical background, excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills , both written and verbal .

• Coaching mentality, highly collaborative and a growth mindset 

• Ability to influence and achieve results through effective negotiation and problem solving. 

• 2 years' experience either working for the U.S. federal government or supporting the U.S. federal government in a consulting capacity .

• PMP preferred.

• Able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed. 

• Work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus. 

• Strong and consistent experience with project budgeting and scheduling. 

• Experience with client development; building on existing and introducing new products

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in a client interaction context. 

• Business acumen.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is :

$90,940.00 - $154,598.00
