Job Description

ICF is seeking a multidisciplinary Management Consultant professional to support a large variety of organization and transformational projects to include helping Federal clients identify business areas for improvement, develop strategies, and execute business initiatives. This position will ideally be located in the Washington DC area to attend in-person meeting occasionally but has the ability to work remotely a majority of the time. The ideal candidate will have an interest in project management/coordination, change management, and organizational and strategic development. The individual needs to be a self-starter who has the initiative to research topics and solve problems with limited oversight from supervisor. They will work with a team to:

  • Review current organizational structures and processes and recommend enhancements, improvements, and efficiencies based on research and guidance of in-house Subject Matter Experts.
  • Draft project and communications plans to clearly articulate ICF’s approach for achieving contract objectives.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and collect thorough and accurate data to draft Standard Operating Procedures for existing processes.
  • Design project management tools customized to the client’s needs that allow for the ability to track milestones, budget, and resources.
  • Conceptualize, coordinate, and prepare client-ready products that meet both company and client standards and needs.
  • Support the design, development, implementation, and revision of project plans and adhere to established timelines while delivering quality work products.
  • Work with team members to identify problems and conduct root cause analysis.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience and project management or change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and project management approaches, tools, and phases
  • Interest in helping clients solve problems, ideally with a human centered design approach
  • Analytical skills and the ability to provide insight into project progress
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills to include experience with developing and delivering presentations, editing, and proofreading
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easily understandable written format
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills working in a dynamic client environment
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • Familiarity with IT project management frameworks such as Agile
  • Project Management or Change Management certifications
  • Strong time management skills to balance multiple ongoing projects

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$52,488.00 - $89,230.00
