Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Position Summary :
This is a key strategic position for a global software platform development group . This role c onducts risk assessment s and provide s recommendations for environments, system s and application s . Participates in a wide range of security activities including vulnerability management, access management, troubleshooting, infrastructure management , audit support and more . Analyses are performed through all stages of the system lifecycle, including : concept, design, build , test, integration , operation, maintenance and disposal. Provides analysis, evaluation s , and recommendations to improve system consistency , efficiency, and effectiveness. Helps ensure solution requirements meet timing, technical, and financial constraints. P rovides recommendations for enhancements to systems, testing and processes.
Performance Objectives:
Technical Work
- Develop and document processes to assist team
- Evaluate, design and optimize workflows and process automation
- Develop , implement and maintain technology standards
- Engage with business stakeholders to evaluate solution requirements
- Identify, develop and implement improvements in existing systems
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years general technology experience
- 2 year related security experience
- Familiarity with on-prem and cloud-native tooling and best practices
- Experience with scripting and/or automation or orchestration tooling
- Fluent with information security concepts
- Desire for growth and development of security skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task, react and think quickly
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Must be flexible enough to work overtime when needed
- Ability to travel 2-5 times a year

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is :
$110,037.00 - $187,064.00
