Database Administrator Analyst
Location: Blue Bell, PA
Duration: 6-7 months

This position on the Medicare Risk Adjustment team will be responsible for the process surrounding file receipt and submission of risk adjustment data to the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
Responsibilities include, understanding data requirements, using SAS code to process and create submissions, editing and formatting data received to comply to submission guidelines, creating and maintaining datasets, data retrieval, validation and analysis, audit trail documentation and reconciliation, interacting with vendors, providers and internal constituents and working with others to effectively manage the workflow and achieve commitments.
Team members in this position will be using Base SAS 9.4 Windows 10 version to perform data retrieval, comparisons, and formatting to create a text file output.

Prior Client/Healthcare work experience?: No
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Required: Yes
Duties:
Ability to read and write code in SAS BASE 9.4 M7 environment
Extracts data from multiple sources and creates integrated data sets.
Imports data in various file formats, merge, format, validate, populate missing values, quality checks and export into uniformed submission format.
Assesses data and analyzes quality to identify and correct data issues.
Perform record level reconciliations and documentation.
Ability to focus on data details and explore aberrations within the data
Documents methods, specifications, and results clearly.
Works well in a team environment with others to meet commitments.
Communicates information in a clear and concise manner.

PCSAS working knowledge
Position Summary:
Support focuses on learning the basic skills required to design, implement, and maintain physical data models and databases and in becoming familiar with DBMS products and tools.
This individual possesses working knowledge of Healthcare's development methodology and processes and participates in developmental efforts adhering to the application system design.
Education:
2- or 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
