What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate position at ICP Group?
Shipping
- Pick materials to ship using pick list and scan gun.
- Palletize and shrink wrap freight (maneuver drums from pallet to pallet)
- Adhere address labels to freight.
- Attach MSDS’ to freight.
- Verify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information.
- Work with production in regard to finished goods coming out of production that need to ship.
- Notify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies.
- Load trucks with outbound shipments and collect paperwork.
- Put away all stock not shipping into warehouse locations.
- Participate in required inventories and general department housekeeping.
Consignment
- Participate in a 3-person team for month end consignment levels.
- Scan individual materials for specific vendors.
- Team consists of Forklift Operator, Computer verification, Scan operator.
Salary : $17 - $18
