Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Manager to work in our National Security Solutions department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our UB2 facility with every other Friday off. You will provide project management for assigned projects. Operate with directives from management within operational and research plans/directives. You will have a strategic need for fabrication and prototype development experience and management of such projects from inception to realization. Responsibilities Include: - The ideal candidate will have multiple years (15 ) of fabrication experience of state of the art machining/fabrication technology and will specifically use this experience to help set project organization strategic objectives with management oversight. - Interfaces with multiple clients in different markets/sectors and maintains direct client and stakeholder interface and collaboration. - Understand strategic importance of projects, tasks and collaboration. - Use dynamic approaches to develop management solutions to project issues. - Ensure compliance with full range of scope (concept to product/service delivery), budget, schedule and client negotiated requirements for programs. - Provide efficient tools needed for project work including budgeting, scheduling and work execution. - Maintain direct client interface and develop teams and acquire resources. - Translate program strategies into action for implementation. - Ensure the successful execution (safety, security, environmental, cost, schedule, and quality) of programs assigned by the Department Manager. Take responsibility and accountability for operational excellence in safety, security, environmental stewardship and project management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: - PR0300: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Applied Management, and at least 5 years experience in fabrication project execution and management. - PR0400: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Applied Management, and at least 8 years experience in fabrication project execution and management. - Preferred: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Applied Management, and at least 15 years experience in fabrication project execution and management. - Current, active DOE Q Clearance - Previous military service or current National Guard service. - This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance and appropriate sigma's and SCI: which requires US Citizenship. Job Information: - PR0300 - 210 ($95,928 - $158,232) Or PR0400 - 220 ($110,316 - $181,956) - You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment. - TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment. - Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
