Position Summary
This position is responsible for developing BY WMS modifications based on a documented design with a large focus on expanding development and functional skillsets within the Blue Yonder WMS.

Job Responsibilities
Business Analytics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data acquisition, data analysis, and metrics development and reporting.
- Ensuring accuracy of data
- Conduct feasibility studies, review computer systems capabilities, workflow, schedule limitations, and assist in planning or developing new systems or modifying existing to improve business services.
- Plan and organize data collation and data set up for the agreed solution.
- Analysis of business processes and design of new processes and system configuration to optimize future business operations.
- Analyze business and user requirements, procedures, and problems to help automate processes.
Site Technical Support
- Serve as the go-to super user, and WMS expert for all site users.
- Serve as the primary resource for any WMS issues reported by the operations team.
- Troubleshoots and resolves support requests related to the Blue Yonder WMS or any related interfaces or related systems.
- Test and analyze systems to identify code problems, software errors, working towards remediation of issues.
- Work with software vendors and developers to resolve highly complex application issues.
- Assist in the identification and design of any required application modifications as well as functional designs; includes test scripting, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Monitor integrations between WMS and ERP to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
Warehouse Activities
- Possesses a working knowledge of warehouse activities.
- Interfaces with the Operations Team to review operating procedures to maximize system efficiency.
- Design and Support continuous training for WMS end users.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Tier 1 WMS, preferably with BlueYonder WMS.
- Advanced SQL skills (MSSQL); WMS database knowledge is a big plus.
- 2 years of WMS (Warehouse Management System) Experience.
- Able to extract data and summarize it to identify/solve business problems.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards. Power BI is a big plus.
- WMS Super User experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Warehouse Distribution
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Ability to research and follow-up to find the right solution when required.
- Excellent planning, client support, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
- Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented
- MHE (Materials Handling Equipment) experience a plus
- Excellent written communication skills to include, but not limited to, standard operating procedures and training documents.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and patience when working with those who are less knowledgeable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.) Knowledge of RF terminals and scanners preferred.
- EDI experience is a massive plus.
Travel
- Ability to drive long distances and/or travel overnight as required.
