What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Ideal Charter, LLC?
Ideal Charter is actively searching for a dispatcher to work a flexible schedule. They will monitor shuttle and charter service, understand changes/instructions from customers, update management on operational status and schedule drivers for charter runs throughout the day. Communication is key, as this role also involves confirming service details with customers, and receiving customer calls.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development and monitoring of transportation routes to improve safety and efficiency
- Proactively collaborating with drivers, reservation agents and operations to minimize disruptions from assigned work order.
- Maintaining communications with bus drivers
- Assisting in ensuring coverage is accurate for the scheduled number of runs for the day.
- Assisting Operations in ensuring drivers submit all required paperwork by end of shift.
- Ability to comply with all applicable government regulations, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with sales and operations management to ensure driver gaps, late pickups, late departures are communicated to all parties.
