Responsibilities
The Process Engineer (Molding) will develop, initiate and sustain Injection Molding Manufacturing Process evaluations and improvements.
Will also:
Develop and implement new Injection Molding manufacturing processes.
Provide technical advice and expertise for the assigned manufacturing processes as well as related areas.
Problem solve and troubleshoot using scientific methods using data to support conclusions that result in permanent solutions.
Maintains manufacturing instructions and standards relative to production routings, safe work methods, and operation of machinery.
Leads Continuous Improvement initiatives for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or applicable experience.
5-7 years of experience in a Plastics Injection Molding manufacturing operation preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Experience with maintenance programs and personnel including preventive maintenance, spare parts management and vendor management inventory.
Proficiency with SolidWorks applcation preferred.
