Job Description:
- Looking for a candidate with a Horticulture background with 2 years of experience. The candidate must have a “clean” and valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and will directly report to the job site.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Candidate needs to have a wide range of landscape/maintenance knowledge important to maintaining main site plantings including but not limited to the planting of flowers, maintenance of flower displays, pruning of trees and shrubs, weeding, mulching, mowing with commercial mowers, line trimming, cultivating and litter control.
- The candidate must be able to bend and stoop, stand for long periods of time and lift 35lbs.
- Must be able to work outside, often in variable weather conditions.
- Good communication skills a must.
- Missouri pesticide applicators license a plus but will train candidates to acquire technicians license.
- Strong knowledge of plant material and landscape maintenance techniques; proficient in operating various landscape tools and equipment.
- Demonstrates the highest level of professional and ethical conduct.
- In winter months, assist with snow removal crews to remove snow and ice on the site.
- Maintain general care of horticultural tools and technical equipment.
- Ensures that all applicable safety standards are followed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
