iDesign is seeking a Utility Coordinator for a major transportation design-build project in the Washington, DC Metro Region. Duties will include identification and processing of utility relocations, acting as a liaison between the project team and local utility owners, and oversight of junior utility engineering staff. This position is a hybrid telework position, with up to two days per week required at the project office in Alexandria, VA.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience performing utility coordination, including coordinating with utility owners, resolving utility conflicts, and managing utility relocation processes for large transportation projects.
