Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Employee to join our team. As a Lead Employee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our store and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a year round 30-40 hour/week position.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise store employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking merchandise
- Price products accurately and ensure proper signage throughout the store
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with store management to develop strategies for improving sales and profitability
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, including creating daily/weekly work schedule
- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve complaints in a professional manner
