What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter position at IE MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION?
We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our growing team of medical transportation drivers. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles and will work well in a team environment. Must live in the Inland Empire, preferably in the Riverside area. Two shifts available: morning shift from 11am - 8pm and afternoon/evening shift from approximately 4pm - 8pm; Monday - Saturday both part time. Occasionally may come in earlier or finish later, must be flexible.
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport passenger to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload passengers as required and safely.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, or passengers.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
Experience:
- Proven experience in driving.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading/unloading patient.
- Strong communication skills to interact with passengers or/and dispatch.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to maintain the vehicle in good working condition
