General Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Human Resources Clerk to join our dynamic HR team. The HR Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes and activities.
This role is essential in maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment efforts, and supporting various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Records Management : Maintain and update employee files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Recruitment Support : Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Onboarding and Orientation : Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial HR orientation sessions.
- Benefits Administration : Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
- Payroll Support : Provide assistance with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll data.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing information and assistance on HR policies and procedures.
- General Administrative Support : Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining HR documentation.

Specific Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a large organization.
- Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
