IFF sponsors an engineering co-op program to provide challenging work assignments that enable students to develop skills through practical application. Our program is designed to promote awareness, and to enhance education and future growth opportunities.

As a member of the process engineering group for the Memphis, Tennessee manufacturing site, the co-op position will assist engineering and technical resources in the following areas:
- Provide support to engineers in executing plant trials and troubleshooting daily production and maintenance issues
- Write experimental outlines, execute and report findings
- Provide administrative and technical support to manufacturing
- Offer technical support to production and maintenance
- Provide capital project and process design support
- Process Safety Management
- Some shift work may be required
Engineering
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Must be able to work safe and comply with all corporate/site EHS guidelines and policies
- Possess strong math and statistical background and a technical aptitude for unit operations
- Good interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written); able to contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient with MS Office package (specifically Word and Excel)
- Currently enrolled undergraduate as a sophomore, junior or senior working toward receiving a BS degree in Chemical Engineering
- Program is NOT designed for BS degreed or graduate level students
- Must be at minimum a Sophomore by hours at start of co-op term
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (Cumulative and Major)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Comply with guidelines established by education facility’s career services center
