Responsibilities:

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Healthcare Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 30 years, serving those that struggle with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,00 people, as reported by the CDC; or a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of servce would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Dietary Manager to oversee the Food Service / Dietary department on a daily basis.

The Dietary Manager supervises the production, distribution, purchasing, budgeting and serving of food services for the facility. He/She assures their department is compliant with regulatory and sanitation standards. The Dietary Manager ensures the dietary department is maintained in a clean, orderly and attractive condition, providing a suitable environment for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center. The Dietary Manager works in cooperation with the consulting dietitian to ensure patients are provided the nutrition necessary to meet their dietary needs. The Dietary Manager completes daily cook/aide duties as necessary.


The schedule for the full-time position is day shift Monday - Friday and weekend hours as required.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Graduate of an approved dietary manager’s course that meets the state and federal care regulations preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years experience in food service and one year of supervisory experience is required. Food service experience in a treatment center or healthcare facility is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Valid PA Driver’s License, ServeSafe Certification required. Certification as a dietary manager or food professional is preferred.
Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or other related field required, with a practicum in health or human service agency preferred.
