Responsibilities
The ITS Representative will be part of our internal sales group and responsible for maintaining relationships with retailers and outside sales reps to manage ticket allocation that best fits with needs of retail customers. ITS Representative will be expected to become fully versed in all aspects of lottery retailing and be prepared to answer questions as well as analyze and troubleshoot problems or requests by retailers or sales rep.
- Enters ticket orders in to computer terminal to ensure proper distribution of tickets to retailers.
- Manage account list as needed in support of Lottery Instant Games and related products.
- Maintains daily records of incoming/outgoing calls, tickets sold and account changes and corrections.
- Must be prepared and available at station to answer incoming Retailer Relations to respond to questions and solve problems.
- Assists in the researching of pertinent information in support of Sales/Marketing Department for decisions affecting Lottery Retailer Network.
- Handles distribution of new ticket allocations.
- Promotes positive retailer relations by establishing a good working relationship, servicing the account and assisting with sales through the marketing of Lottery products.
- Tracks and maintains adequate inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailer.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent
- 6 months - 1-year work experience preferably in a customer focused role
- Must have good communications skills
- Effective time management skills and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi task
- General understanding of lottery transactions and how the lottery operates
- Computer Skills - Outlook, Word, Excel
