GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Support Specialist will communicate with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products, services, process orders, handle and resolve complaints. This position also receives and processes incoming orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Contract Review of all incoming orders for accuracy in Part or Assembly Number, Revision Level, Cost, Lead Time, Shipping Method, Ship/Drop-Ship Location and Kanban or Finished Goods Programs
Work with territory Harnessing Project Manager for immediate review and resolution
Provide feedback to the customer for agreement and approval
Process and confirm the order according to accuracy in Online Order and DBA
Review and evaluate customer standard and escalated expedite requests
Process and re-confirm to customer best possible expedited delivery date
Receive, review, process and confirm all incoming Harnessing subcontractor "no-cost" purchase orders for all igus supplied materials
Advise territory Project Manager of any identified igus material shortages for review and substitution
Work with Domestic and International Procurement team to monitor and expedite any igus material shortages
Perform other office, clerical, and administrative duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Two years minimum experience in computer data entry is required
Proficient in the use of MS Office and general office procedures such as managing files and records, scanning and general office procedures
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including knowledge of the rules of composition and grammar, the correct structure and content of both written and spoken communications, and the meaning and spelling of words
Ability and willingness to follow instructions and directions
Accuracy and ability to pay attention to detail
The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time and type on keyboard.
