Central Sterile Supervisor

I.K. Hofmann USA has an opportunity available working with a large health system in Atlanta as a Central Sterile Supervisor

SUMMARY 

The Central Sterile Supervisor observes and monitors employees and shift operations on a daily basis. Assists with performance evaluations as well as coaching, training and orientating staff. Works closely with other supporting departments to maintain instrumentation in a cost effective manner.  Provides on-site support, training and communication to contracted facilities in accordance with the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS 

High School Diploma or GED.

Graduated from Sterile Processing Accredited Program.

Associates Degree in any healthcare related field preferred.

Six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

One (1) year lead experience required

Seven (7) or more years job related experienced including Sterile Processing or Preoperative related field preferred.

Certified as a Sterile Processing from HSPA (formally known as IAHCSMM) or CBSPD

Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

-       Ability to work in a face-paced environment and show problem-solving and multitasking skills. 

-       Stand, move, bend at a fast pace for up to 8 to 10 hours per day.

-       Must be able to discern written and oral instructions and communications
