Job Posting for Assembler (DV) at iLink Resources, Inc.
The Assembler is an employee who is tasked with the assembly of parts to satisfy customers’ demands and expectations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Have Transported components and associated materials to the assembly station and arranged in orderly manner for assembly.
Interpret the assembly blueprint as to the proper assembly sequence and method
Assemble components and test assembly (if applicable) to blueprint specifications using a large variety of hand tools and equipment. • Document time and associated paperwork.
Have Transported finished assemblies to holding area for inspection and stockplacing.
Clean and keep area in an orderly and safe condition.
Requires adjustments and testing of assemblies.
Requires tack welding occasionally.
Ability to pass forklift test and operate sit down and stand up forklifts.
Demonstrated knowledge of lifting devices and capacities. This includes jibs and the gantry bridge cranes.
Ability to read, write and communicate clearly to coworkers and management.
Proficiency with measuring tools.
Demonstrated knowledge in the use of computers to enter and retrieve information.
