The Assembler is an employee who is tasked with the assembly of parts to satisfy customers’ demands and expectations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Have Transported components and associated materials to the assembly station and arranged in orderly manner for assembly.
- Interpret the assembly blueprint as to the proper assembly sequence and method
- Assemble components and test assembly (if applicable) to blueprint specifications using a large variety of hand tools and equipment. • Document time and associated paperwork.
- Have Transported finished assemblies to holding area for inspection and stockplacing.
- Clean and keep area in an orderly and safe condition.
- Requires adjustments and testing of assemblies.
- Requires tack welding occasionally.
- Ability to pass forklift test and operate sit down and stand up forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lifting devices and capacities. This includes jibs and the gantry bridge cranes.
- Ability to read, write and communicate clearly to coworkers and management.
- Proficiency with measuring tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the use of computers to enter and retrieve information.
