Health Regulatory Associate

About:

A leading international law firm are currently seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate to join their Healthcare Regulatory Compliance group in DC. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a team of lawyers with specialised health care expertise and industry knowledge. You will be called upon to provide practical solutions to complex questions tied to health care regulatory compliance and third-party reimbursements. You will also advise clients on state and federal Stark and anti-kickback laws, false claims acts, corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting laws that regulate health care payment and delivery systems.

Experience:

The ideal candidate must have 2-6 years of health law experience involving regulatory and compliance issues, health care transactions, investigations and/or litigation. You must also have knowledge of such areas as fraud and abuse law, reimbursement issues, HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid. Excellent academic credentials and admission to practice in DC is also required.
