Job Overview:
Facilities Technicians are responsible for the operation and maintenance of biomanufacturing buildings and equipment. They monitor operations daily. They oversee systems that include heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, and electrical systems, repairs, installs, replaces, and services various types of equipment and systems. Each day, a technician spends time tackling different tasks, depending on the issue, such as analyzing problems, running tests, and repairing equipment. Is being a technician a good career?
Duties:
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all equipment related to production process
- Test production equipment for operational ability.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, under supervision of maintenance technician.
- Adjusts equipment as authorized by supervision to center-lining process.
- Perform scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Responsible for adhering to BOS and SAP standards and activities.
- Knowledge of and focus on site?s quality, reliability, scrap and safety goals.
- Operate in safe manner observing all site safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
- Maintain Personal Tool Inventory as outlined in minimum required tool list
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
