Job Summary
Mining Reclamation - Internship
Location: Johns Creek, GA
Desired Degree: Mine Engineer / Geologist with proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD / GIS not required, but preferred
Our Summer Internship Program Provides An Opportunity To Apply The Concepts You Learned In Engineering Classes To Real World Experience, Including
Review all of the existing reclamation plans from the mine sites located in North America and screen each plan for the most important details.
Project Description/ Deliverables
Prepare a one page summary for each site and develop a summary tracking file to link plan requirements to cost to complete.
Project Learning Objectives
Familiarity with a variety of reclamation techniques associated with a wide variety of industrial minerals, insight to cost and standard practices and techniques.
