ImpactLife is looking for dedicated, motivated individuals who are interested in being an integral part of our Inventory Management and Distribution (IMD) team.
We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Inventory & Management Distribution (IMD). IMD is a highly regulated environment who is responsible for the coordination, distribution and delivery of blood products to the hospital clients we serve. The IMD Supervisor will oversee daily operations while working as part of the IMD team. Supervisors perform all functions associated with IMD such as communicating with our partner hospitals regarding inventory and patient needs, inventory reconciliation, product distribution and ensuring quality standards are met.
Work Schedule: This is a fulltime position generally working 1st shift, Monday-Friday. On-call may be required for staffing coverage as needed.
Supervisor Responsibilities can include:
Responsible for the support of department and ImpactLife initiatives.
Oversee assigned staff including counseling, scheduling, and payroll duties.
Troubleshoot to resolve issues within compliance of SOPs, including logistics and delivery of optimal customer service.
Participate in preparation of departmental budget and benchmarking.
Monitor departmental and customer inventory levels.
Validate processes and equipment.
Develop and oversee departmental training.
Qualifications:
High school competencies plus an additional 2 years of formal preparation is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or inventory management is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred.
Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management/hospital customer relations/logistics is preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer).
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Working knowledge of computers.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to operate Blood Center vehicles.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, and maintain regular and reoccurring physical exertion such as reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
