Business Intelligence Lead

Overview

Imperial Dade seeks to hire a Business Intelligence Lead for its growing RevMan (Revenue Management) team. In this newly created role, the position will support the VP of Pricing and Profitability in improving our pricing position through leadership of key pricing initiatives. This includes developing and maintaining products and tools provided to management and sales, such as the pricing engine, sales-facing quotation tool, and sales management reporting suite

Candidates will be expected to take an active role in all aspects of product development and engine refinement to drive continuous improvement of pricing capabilities, including coordinating with sales leadership, pricing leadership and branch leads to identify opportunities to improve pricing capabilities, define technical requirements for data science team and validate outcomes before implementing.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Coordinate with pricing and sales leadership to identify improvement areas for pricing capabilities
• Rapidly analyze engine issues, including size and scope of opportunity
• Define analytical pathway to improve engine logic or develop new reporting, including validating approach with key stakeholders
• Translate analytics into technical requirements for pricing data scientists
• Validate engine outcomes to ensure enhancement meeting target objective
• Support stakeholder conversations with IT, Finance, Sales and Pricing to understand key engine changes
• Review outcomes in the field to ensure objectives met, refine as needed

Qualifications

You have:

• Master in quant field, 7 years of experience in analytical or related role, consulting experience is a plus
• Excellent knowledge with Power BI/Tableau
• Some level of programming skill is a plus (R, Python)
• Goal driven, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good communicator and influencer
• Self-Motivated - sets and achieves challenging goals, demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.
• Ability to work independently with a high sense of responsibility, ability to adapt and learn quickly
