We are seeking an experienced benefits Administrator for the next 3-4 months. We are looking for someone to work 4 hours a day Monday-Friday part time. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements related to employee benefits
- Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits programs
- Coordinate with payroll department to ensure accurate deduction of employee contributions
- Conduct employee orientations to explain benefits programs and answer questions
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement training programs related to employee benefits
- Stay updated on employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in benefits administration
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefit elections, changes, and terminations
- Collaborate with external vendors and brokers to manage benefit plans effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Benefits Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations
- Proficient in HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or UltiPro
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
