Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA is currently searching for a Business Office Manager; Full-Time schedule 8am - 4:30pm.

Qualifications: Bachelors in Business or experience working in Skilled Nusing Business Office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for entire Medicaid pending process from meeting with families, gathering needed information; responding to Medicaid requests for information/denial/hearings; MA51 & Level of Care documents for Medicaid
  • Scan all documentation for Medicaid applications
  • Process annual Medicaid renewal applications plus gathering what is needed for the renewals 
  • Participating in phone Medicaid hearings when required.
  • Weekly calls with corporate; follow up as given
  • Collection calls for resident accounts
  • All aspects of Resident Management accounts (RFMS); providing resident money out of their accounts when requested; processing family reimbursements for purchases made for residents & processing withdrawals for resident money given; monthly health insurance premiums sent to insurance companies for residents premiums; setting up new resident accounts; all necessary updates/changes to the accounts; close out of account when residents discharge or expired; prepare checks out of the Petty Cash account for payment of insurance premiums; refunds to family members
  • Reconcile checkbook of the Resident Management program.
  • Prepare, make deposits for the Resident Management accounts (RFMS) plus deposits for payment received for resident general accounts(CFG Machine)
  • Follow up phone calls/emails regarding resident issues/bills
  • Process dental/eye care/Xray bills for residents; directly with the vendor
  • Review monthly resident statements for accuracy
  • Attend meetings
  • Manager audits – resident rounds/PPE audits 
  • Estate Recovery forms for Medicaid
  • Rep Payee reports for SSA
  • Process and submit Rep Payee forms for the residents
  • Process & reconcile invoices – weekly – input withdrawal items for residents in Resident Management system 
  • Process and respond/resolve daily mail
  • Mail quarterly RFMS statements to responsible parties
  • Filing
  • Maintain binders for Medicaid 103’s and Medicaid 162’s for audit purposes.
  • Maintain postage machine
  • Responsible for Petty Cash for facility & residents; reconcile facility accounts
  • Upload new Medicaid 162’s & new health insurance premium information.

 

 

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
