JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Operations Manager is a critical role on the marketing team that enables, prioritizes, and executes a wide range of B2B marketing and sales operational activities, plans and processes that focus on ensuring deep sales and marketing alignment and business growth. This is a new role at IPFS, as our team is looking to significantly expand our capabilities in achieving marketing and sales excellence. This role will proactively drive and oversee the effective convergence of sales, marketing, and revenue operations to produce results in sales, business growth and customer engagement for IPFS and affiliates.
This role will focus on establishing, managing, and optimizing a full-funnel sales and marketing engine using inside sales activities, lead generation methodologies, technology, processes, and procedures. This role will establish, hire, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
The Marketing Operations Manager will be a power user of Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, or similar tools to carry out and manage the lead management lifecycle, ensuring the right functionality, processes, procedures, and resources are in place and operating effectively with alignment to business objectives.
This role will be part of the marketing team which provides daily support for approximately 100 sales and account executives across the U.S. He/she will also work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders including executive leadership, Salesforce admins, customer success, product management, legal and compliance, information technology teams and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, carry out, monitor, and report on the full-funnel lead generation and lead lifecycle management process. Includes creating processes, cadences, workflows, and strategies that generate new leads and engage existing customers.
- Optimize marketing operations and the technology stack to ensure IPFS utilizes the right tools and technologies that provide lead selection, scoring, qualification, assignment, conversion tracking and more. Close the loop on the process operationally from campaign to close. Use technology to attribute wins directly to specific marketing activities.
- Hire, train, coach and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives.
- Work with the marketing team, data analytics, product owners and technology sales to strategize campaigns, define customer segments, and generate lists for cold calling and marketing emails. Optimize outbound campaigns and provide highly qualified leads to the sales team.
- Prepare and present to sales executives and senior leadership our goals and objectives, processes and procedures, strategies and tactics, and results.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B marketing operations, sales operations, or revenue operations infrastructure, technology, strategies, processes, and campaigns.
- Expert-level experience with major CRMs such as Salesforce, marketing automation tools such as Pardot and HubSpot, and analytics and reporting tools.
- Advanced-level experience in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

5 years of experience hiring, managing and coaching an inside sales team.
- Unparalleled problem-solving skills to quickly identify, articulate, and craft processes and concepts, and provide easy-to-adopt and easy-to-use practices to a large, dispersed audience.
- Ability to tie high-level business objectives directly to marketing objectives and actionable strategies, providing detailed reporting and ROI to support our efforts.
- Experience with both inbound and outbound marketing, including prior experience building an inbound marketing program from start to finish.
- Highly skilled in leading multiple, parallel, complex projects, from idea inception to implementation to results reporting.
- Exceptional project management, strategic planning, 1-1 consultation, and organizational skills.
- Writing skills for drafting and disseminating a variety of communications, processes, and procedures
