The Team
The Sales team at Imprint is responsible for relentlessly driving the growth of our business, setting and executing our Go-To-Market strategy, driving our merchant acquisition process, and ensuring the needs of merchants are well understood and reflected back into our product development process. We span sales, marketing, brand and product, and work cross-functionally with the leadership team to be the voice and advocate for our merchant partners. We question the status quo, and think outside the box to reimagine the processes that bring products to market and illustrate our value to our potential merchant partners. As an early member of the team, you will have the opportunity to span across all of these areas and be supported in your personal and professional development to take on as much responsibility as you can handle, in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Your Day-to-Day
- Play a leading role in signing merchants for Imprint, which includes all sales motions such as prospecting, pitching, and closing SMB and Mid-Market merchants
- Assist and work directly with the CEO and Head of Sales with all things related to selling Imprint’s suite of products and services
- Willingness and comfort to call, email, and pitch C-level/VP level executives at innovative retailers
- Support the ongoing development of our sales outreach, including merchant research, pitches, sales collateral, and communication
- Assist in creating sales collateral, decks, and case studies to demonstrate the impact of our product in support of acquiring our merchant partners
- Help support our overall sales motion from end to end, including developing and maintaining a CRM, defining the steps that lead to successfully closing our deals, and partnering cross functionally with legal, finance and engineering to productize our approach to terms of agreement and merchant integrations
- Incorporate merchant feedback from our conversations back to our team to inform product roadmap and feature development
We Are Looking For Folks With
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Humility, but driven by competitiveness and want to win
- Willingness to cold outreach prospective merchants in order to pitch, sell, and close strategic brands
- More recent experience, or interest in learning growth functions (sales, marketing, business development) at a startup or high growth company, with a point of view on how to drive value in closing deals
- Excellent skills in analysis, writing, communication, pitching, and narrative development
- Entry level knowledge in Powerpoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google sheets
- Ability to develop fact-based recommendations and communicate them to individuals at varying levels of an organization, from peer to executive audiences
Bonus Points
- Previous FinTech experience, or willingness to get into a FinTech startup
- Experience or willingness to sell payment products, i.e. credit cards, debit cards, loyalty, etc.
- A desire to work with executive team members to drive strategic deals
