IMTS has an opportunity for a Full-Time Recruiter to support our Lorton, VA office. Due to COVID safety protocols, remote work is authorized and reviewed on an on-going basis.

Position Criteria

Location: Lorton, VA

Position Description

You will join a dynamic team, who are all working towards a common goal. You will utilize full life cycle recruitment, and strive to meet weekly and monthly objectives both individually, and as a team. Additionally, you will:

  • Confirm with Hiring Manager(s) to identify recruiting efforts
  • Send out weekly recruiting metrics
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiting, and attending career/job fairs of various types
  • Pre-screen applicants, conduct candidate phone screens, coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers, and ensure candidates are fully aware of the job duties and customer
  • Verify references and employment verifications, process candidate information for approval
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to the hiring managers regarding the status of job openings and candidates,
  • Learn to maintain a steady pipeline of potential candidates
  • Assist in onboarding efforts
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, you should:

  • Have at least an Associate's Degree (or 2 years of college) in Business, IT or related field or military training. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Have high energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
  • Have a strong desire to meet and exceed goals and objectives
  • Have exceptional communication skills both oral and written
  • Have exceptional organization skills and command of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with O365 applications like Teams and SharePoint a plus
  • Show high regard for professionalism
  • Be willing to communicate with candidates via phone, email, video call, or chat as necessary
  • Show a genuine interest in progress within the recruitment field
  • 2 or more years of experience in technical recruiting for a government contractor (GovCon) is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
