Job Title:
Compliance QC Analyst/Assistant

Department: Compliance

Reports To: VP, Deposit Compliance Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

Provide support for deposit function in the compliance department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitor new deposit accounts for completeness and accuracy
  • Monitor existing deposit account maintenance for completeness and accuracy
  • Review CIP and Beneficial Owner information all loan and deposit accounts
  • Communicate with staff and remediation requirements
  • Retrieve and scan mail to appropriate departments
  • Process document requests for subpoenas, garnishments, levies, etc.
  • Backup duties for other Deposit Compliance staff members
  • Provide support to gather documentation for exams and audits

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree or 6 - 12 months of banking experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of at least intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Office products and Windows, with the ability to learn and navigate various types of software.
