iNc EMPIRE, a preferred recruiting provider, is seeking an IT Support Technician to work in Greencastle, IN. This is a full time, direct hire position.
Position Summary:
Operational monitoring and basic support for the company IT environment, actively monitor applications, network and hardware alerting against outages and degraded conditions. Will also assist regular backups and monitor business applications. Can serve as the first point of contact for end-users and provides hardware and software support for all end-user devices. Will work with the Business Systems.
What will you get to do in this role?
- Monitor health of Windows System Servers (Physical/Virtual), Business Systems (Epicor/CMS, Power i9/ AS400), and Network (Cisco).
- Can be first point of contact for 100 users.
- Supports Windows PC’s, iPhones, Androids, Zebra barcode scanners, and Zebra label printers.
- Support and Maintain Windows 10 OS/Office 365 installations.
- Image, configure, deploy and maintain new and existing PC’s/Laptop’s.
- Maintain a Windows Active Directory environment.
- Maintain a Hosted E-Mail Environment.
- Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of system and network issues.
- Assist with Business Systems Implementations, Support Activities and Testing.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki Management ecosystem.
What experience/education do you need to qualify for this position?
- Associates degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of IT Operations or Help Desk environment preferable with some Network experience
- Must be a good problem solver, must have good troubleshooting skills
- Must have good verbal, writing and communication skills
- Ability to frequently walk from building to building throughout the day
- Business Systems (Epicor/CMS) and AS400/Power i9 experience is strongly desired
