Senior Accountant Position

The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly journal entries.
- Reconcile important balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support external audit activities.
- Oversee and manage operating leases using lease management software, providing accurate payment information to Accounts Payable.
- Handle commission calculations using commission management software, ensuring accurate approvals and payroll submissions.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience
- Experience with managing operating leases
- Experience with commission processing
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical abilities
- Familiarity with mid-sized ERP systems
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience with specific accounting or lease management software
