Stockroom Operations Manager

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000

Location: Pryor, OK

Position: Stockroom Operations Manager

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Stockroom Operations Manager to join their team! This role involves managing the stockroom and ensuring that materials are properly organized, inventoried, and available for production without overstocking or shortages. The successful candidate will also play a key role in overseeing the stockroom staff and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in inventory management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstocking, ensuring materials are available for production
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe stockroom facilities, following safety standards
• Communicate with suppliers about orders, delivery times, and special handling procedures
• Manage and train stockroom staff, delegating tasks and evaluating performance for efficiency
• Prepare inventory reports and provide updates to management on stock levels
• Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to communicate shortages and lead times
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in stockroom or inventory management
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
• Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, ensuring effective coordination across departments
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
  
  

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices for stockroom management
• Lean or Six Sigma certification for process improvement
