SUMMARY:
The Chemical Management Technician (CMS Technician) is accountable for representing Incora Aircraft values, quality, and commitment, for maintaining adequate stock levels, and performing value added functions of chemical management on the customer site or our warehouse location. This person will serve as the primary contact for our customers and responsible to consistently interact with various site personnel in a production or warehouse environment.
Additionally, this employee will be responsible for supporting a safe and hazard free workplace, specifically in chemical materials handling processes, procedures, and utilizing all required Personal Protective Equipment. This role may require travelling between customer sites as well as from Incora's chemical and hardware warehouses. This position requires the utmost level of professionalism in the face of the customer and excellent correspondence skills using various methods of communication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent Incora's vision, values, and objectives in all job-related activities, sustaining excellent customer relationships
- Maintain strong knowledge of Incora products including, but not limited to, hardware, chemicals, tooling, and electric components, services, inventory systems, quality requirements, and customer plans and specifications
- Monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine when replenishment of stock is required
- Perform regular inventory inspections for shelf life/ expiration dates, as required
- Conduct basic analysis/sampling and review of chemical compatibility to determine potential required actions to conform to customer requirements and industry regulations, as required
- Perform regularly scheduled readings and maintain machining units (including but not limited to Coalescer Units, etc.) to the required standards in compliance with customer and regulatory standards, as required
- Perform chemical additions to process tanks per written guidance from customer laboratory
- Ensure availability and coordinate delivery of necessary chemicals for additions to be processed
- Conduct periodic data reviews (including but not limited to drain, clean, and refill data) to support machine maintenance as it pertains to fluids to ensure optimum performance
- Process machine maintenance as required by draining, cleaning, and replenishing materials, as required
- Utilize hand scanners to scan stocking locations on the customer site and transmit replenishment orders to Incora mainframe for processing
- Receive and verify product and documentation to ensure accuracy of inventory required for the customer specifications and site
- Gather, deliver, and stock: inventory storage cribs and fill bins/cabinets on the customer site accurately with required orders
- Level load production floor bins as necessary due to back order conditions, as required
- Utilize pallet jacks, drum dollies, drive forklifts, and/or order picker, when trained/certified
- Maintain floor cleanliness, apply labels, and repair and/or replace bins, cabinets, and racks, as required
- Prepare and process recycled material and non-hazardous and/or hazardous waste, as required
- Coordinate with site management for 3rd party vendors to pick up/transport waste, as required
- Practice and promote good housekeeping within the on-site work environment
- Respond to hazardous material releases and provide spill cleanup according to Safety & Health standards, while utilizing and interpreting chemical detection devices and associated equipment
- Develop, audit, and maintain site required inventory and status reports as assigned
- Maintain communication with customer Production Floor Supervisors and Lead Persons to assist in new add part numbers, bin changes, and bin quantities, with the Onsite Representative and/or Program Manager
- Communicate part expedites, quality issues, and/or other problems to the Onsite Representative, Onsite Supervisor, or Program Manager for root cause analysis, communication, and implementation of a resolution
- Actively seek and recommend process improvements to On Site Representative, Leads, Supervisor, or Program Managers, to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Accommodate special requirements which may be established by the customer supervisor, including but not limited to work schedule changes, required overtime, working holidays, and weekends, as needed
- Follow established work procedures to assure compliance with all customer site requirements in accordance with safety and security processes; in addition to alignment with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies including: OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, and RCRA requirements
- Adhere to the Company's Global Labor and Ethics Policy in regards to all interactions that occur in the workplace
- Attend regularly scheduled customer or company-sponsored meetings and/or training, as required
- Ability to travel, as necessary between customer sites
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - External
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Associates Degree in a closely related field, such as Inventory Management, Logistics, Chemistry, Engineering, etc. is preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant inventory management, material handling, and production experience required
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience pertaining to chemical compatibility (Balancing pH levels, etc.), preferred
- Hazwoper Training (40 Hours) preferred
- Relative JIT, VMI or 3PO experience, within the aerospace industry preferred
- Excellent, proven customer service and interaction skills, with direct customer contact
- Demonstrated ability to serve in liaison and/or as a trained and reliable company representative, with positive results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and external customers, serving various levels of the company
- Demonstrated excellence and commitment to a safe and hazard free workplace
- Demonstrated basic knowledge and/or competency pertaining to chemical compatibility (Balancing pH levels, etc.) preferred
- Must be able to actively support and wear PPE (Respirator, Face Shield, Apron, Gloves, etc.) as required
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Clear and accurate data entry and documentation skills
- Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers

- Ability to be cross-trained in multiple critical areas of the department
- Strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel, as applicable and/or required

- Must have the ability to drive from customer site-to-site, as necessary
- Must have and maintain own/reliable transportation and company-approved driving record
